The car underneath the robotaxi
Every robotaxi is a computer bolted to an ordinary production car, and that car is recalled on its own schedule by its own manufacturer. Those recalls are not filed by the operator and never appear in an AV recall list — so nobody counts them against the fleets that drive the platform.

How this is matched, and what it does not claim
The join is deliberately conservative.
A recall qualifies only when the manufacturer matches the platform’s maker andthe model name appears, word-bounded, in the recall’s own subject or defect text. Manufacturer alone is far too broad — Toyota recalls everything Toyota builds. A bare model name is far too noisy: searching “Bolt” returns every loose fastener in the database. The pairing under-counts rather than over-claims.
A recall on the platform is not a recall on the robotaxi. The operator may run a different model year, may have already had the remedy applied, or may have modified the system the defect concerns. What this page establishes is exposure, not fault — the question “has the car underneath this fleet been recalled, and for what” has a public answer, and it has never been assembled.
